Prediction of Shear Strength for Steel-Fiber High-Strength Concrete Corbels with the Softened Strut-and-Tie Model

On the basis of test results nine steel-fiber high-strength concrete corbel specimens subjected to a vertical load, influence steel fiber content on shear performance corbels was analyzed. The softened strut-and-tie model (SSTM) used analyze strength corbels, taking into consideration contribution fibers. A calculation for is proposed, and database 26 created by using model. obtained according codes ACI318-19, EC2, CSA A23.3-19 were compared with experimental values verify rationality findings showed that can effectively limit crack width improve morphology. overall average value ratio between predicted strengths 1.082, variance 0.004. proposed closer than those calculated codes. This study provides definite mechanical reveal mechanism concrete. It reasonably predict corbels.
